Agree on the power play. While the success they had last year is undeniable they are at the point where they have to do something different. They just don't look the same and it needs a shake up. |

Team MVP candidates, in order:
Lindgren
That's it... no one else. Give him the Norris if we make the playoffs
hopefully this is not too sad for the regulars here. don't want to scare anyone else away from the blog |

Kravstov just needs to play 20 games in a row, while staying healthy.... |

I think he's gonna be OK. I am trying to be optimistic about this one. |

He hasn’t gotten very many scoring chances, but I think he will bury many of the chances that he does get. Kind of the opposite of Laf/Kakko who get chances but just can’t find the back of the net. |

I figured some sort of divine, foggy Rangers glasses were involved. |

Not a conclusion, just my hypothesis. He’s shown in the KHL that when he has chances he’s pretty damn silky smooth. Kids got mitts.
Edit: also trying to participate in the increased optimism around here. |

Maybe take it out on the wife, or she can take it out on me. |

Nothing at all derogatory about you in my comments, Jan.
I am still here for your content, as I said I would be. It's simply that we used to discuss a wide range of things on here, Rangers and otherwise. Of late, it is just a constant barrage of comments about how much our players suck after any bad play. The players suck, the coach sucks, the GM sucks...
Maybe I'm just too positive to handle it anymore. I love my team and while I will hope for improvement and increased success, I will continue to cheer them on, whoever pulls on the sweater. ...Except for Avery, I never cheered for him. |

I'm just not sure what we are supposed to feel positive about right now other than we are coming off a much needed win for the team and our backup. Fox is humming along, and Lindgren has taken his game to an even higher level. Chytil is somewhat living up to his hype. Panarin and Mika started hot, as did the team, but have tailed off as of late. Not sure what else there is.... There are glaring issues from the top down and it's frustrating. I also just don't really like GG's style, but if we win I can look past it |

I am torn about him. He was quite skilled but his antics made him more of a liability than anything. Makes ADA look like a saint. |
